Bev Pasquarella
Bev Pasquarella discovered a love for drawing and painting upon retiring in 2016. After a career as a musical artist, she took her first art class at Wilmington University in Rehoboth Beach DE. She discovered a love of graphite drawing and the transparency of watercolor, the espressivity and detail available in colored pencils, and pastels. She has worked locally with teachers individually, in the studio, and online. Her paintings often portray sea scenes and cottages inspired by the Delaware Coast, still-life objects, flowers. She loves to draw and paint portraits of people and pets as well. Bev strives to create visual art that conveys the beauty she finds in the subject, that the viewer may have a visual, emotional, or memorable response.
