The Artpothecary is DAC's public arts space and creative third place. A welcoming environment where people gather around art, conversation, music, cocktails, and community.
Throughout the year, the Artpothecary hosts rotating exhibitions, artist meetups, comedy shows, fundraisers, workshops, private events, and seasonal Fresh Art Pop-Up Shows featuring work from local DAC artists.
Whether you're discovering new artwork, meeting friends for a drink, attending an event, or simply looking for an inspiring place to spend an afternoon, the Artpothecary offers a different way to connect with creativity.

Weekly Rotating Experimental Exhibition Series at the Artpothecary
Fresh Art Pop-Ups exist because there wasn't a space here for artists to take real risks — to show up with a big concept, an untested idea, or a completely new direction and actually bring it to life.
So we built one.
Every show at The Artpothecary is concept-driven and one-of-a-kind. There's no pressure to make pretty work, no expectation of what "beach art" should look like. Artists come in with fresh ideas and full creative freedom, and what comes out is something you won't see anywhere else on the Delaware coast.

How it works: Fresh Art Pop-Ups run all summer alongside the West Side Creative Market. Join us Fridays and Mondays for the market and the art — the Artpothecary is just down the block.
Can't make it on a market day?
The space is also open Sunday, 3PM to close, so you can explore at your own pace. Artists are present on Fridays and Mondays.
Fifteen shows with something out of the ordinary, plus a cocktail bar, music, and special surprises.
Shows run Memorial Day to Labor Day all summer in historic West Rehoboth

There is a space rental fee of $65 per person with a 10 person minimum. This includes full use of the space, full open bar, decoupage magnet create & take station, event planning support, and plenty of add-ons from there.
You can have food delivered, hire live music, and more! For larger gatherings of 25+, we offer a set fee instead of a per-person fee. We require a $250 deposit to reserve the space.

DAC Artist-Made is a curated retail collection featuring artwork, handmade goods, and creative products from DAC Artists. Every item represents an artist taking an important step toward building a sustainable creative career.
Many artists rely solely on original artwork sales, but long-term success often requires multiple income streams. Through DAC Artist-Made, artists gain hands-on experience creating products for retail environments, understanding wholesale partnerships, and learning how to reach customers beyond traditional art shows.
Our collection currently features products from DAC Artists alongside creative partnerships with local businesses including Gaia Coffee Co., MF Heat Co., and Ember & Fog. You'll also find select works from Fresh Art Pop-Up artists, giving exceptional artwork a life beyond the exhibition walls.
This is just the beginning.
