DAC’s indoor gallery and creative space is perfect for smaller gatherings that want a little more personality. Surrounded by rotating exhibitions from local artists, the Artpothecary includes a flexible main gallery, front retail/reception area, seasonal patio, full bar, sound system, adjustable lighting, furniture, and free onsite parking.

Go bigger. Take over the whole Market.
Our outdoor Creative Market campus is built for gatherings that want room to spread out and an experience guests won't find at a traditional venue. The space includes 21 covered artist booths, a stage, covered bar, picnic and high-top seating, sound equipment, and free parking with the ability to bring DAC artists, tenting solutions, event rentals, live music, food trucks, and other creative experiences directly into your event.
Best for: company celebrations, large private parties, community gatherings, client appreciation, fundraisers & immersive creative events. Weddings are possible!

There are two ways to book your own West Side Creative Market experience.

Take over DAC’s Artpothecary for your private gathering, photoshoot, meeting, celebration, workshop, shower, dinner, or whatever you have in mind. You bring the vision and we give you a flexible, art-filled space in Rehoboth Beach.

The Artpothecary is DAC’s intimate indoor gallery and creative space, ideal for smaller private gatherings, workshops, celebrations, and curated experiences. West Side Creative Market is our larger outdoor venue with 21 covered booths, a stage, bar, picnic seating, and room for bigger gatherings, private markets, live music, food trucks, and custom experiences. They are “two city blocks” away from eachother on Central St. in West Rehoboth.

You can do either. The Artpothecary and West Side Creative Market can both be rented as venues, or DAC can help build a more curated experience with artists, creative activities, bar service, live music, food trucks, and other add-ons.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date, with the remaining balance due on or before the event date. If you need to cancel after your booking is confirmed, a cancellation fee will apply:
Artpothecary events: $250
West Side Creative Market events: $500
Any remaining portion of your deposit will be refunded -
The Artpothecary is best suited for intimate gatherings of up to about 40 guests (25 seated). West Side Creative Market is designed for much larger outdoor events and can be scaled based on the type of gathering and setup.

No, food is not automatically included. Outside food is welcome, and DAC can help coordinate catering or food trucks depending on the event.

Bar service and drink packages are available as add-ons for private events. Depending on the package, this may include beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, sodas, and bartender service.

Yes — but rather than treating the Artpothecary as a discounted rental for artists, DAC invites artists to pitch ideas for exhibitions, workshops, gatherings, installations, or other creative uses of the space. Artist use is reviewed based on mission alignment, capacity, timing, and the nature of the project.
