Rachel Haas
I have always loved learning traditional craft because it is empowering, rewarding, emphasizes process, and draws us closer to nature through connecting with earth-based materials and hand techniques. Learning weaving in a professional capacity at Haywood Community College and then working as studio assistant to fiber artist Jude Stuecker in North Carolina opened my world and made me more passionate about the importance of craft community and craft education in Delaware. By doing what I love and encouraging others to do the same, I hope to share the nourishment and wisdom that can be found through working with natural textiles.
All commission, collaboration, and teaching/demonstration/lecture inquiries can be sent via an inquiry form on my website. Custom orders/sizing for garments is accepted via e-mail contact as well, allowing up to 6 weeks for production.
