Marcia Sabo Williams

$25.00

My artistic journey began at a young age with a love of all things art or craft. A Fine Arts and Education degree required many drawing, color theory and design classes, and exposed me to varied materials and mediums including oil and acrylic paints, and wood, metal and clay sculpture. All were wonderful learning experiences upon which to build. Working as a Graphic Artist for many years became a training ground for more structured art techniques, but free time was spent trying every craft available as an outlet for imagination and creativity. Retirement has afforded me time to set up a studio in our barn and try new things and hence, the birth of Windy Meadows Art & Design. A formal class in Watercolor brought new joy and a main focus, but a love of experimentation with other new mediums blossomed as well. These currently include pigment and alcohol inks, gouache, mica powders and pastels used alone or in Mixed Media format. Clay and ceramics projects have also found their way into my heart. As for style, well, I enjoy all whether Realistic, Abstract, Impressionistic, Experimental or Ink and Wash. There is an individual beauty in all artistic attempts, and I truly believe it lives within us all.
