‘Community Cloth: A Hands-On Introduction to Handweaving’

This engaging evening begins with a short talk on the planning, design, and preparation behind floor loom weaving, followed by a live loom demonstration. Participants are invited to try their hand at weaving and explore a gallery of finished textiles, fiber samples, and design resources. Whether you're a curious beginner or craft enthusiast, this event offers a rich, tactile experience in textile art. The community-woven cloth will later be auctioned to benefit Artpothecary scholarships.

About the Artist

Rachel is a weaver, seamstress, natural dyer, and teaching artist from Sussex County showing work at the DAC Creative Market in Rehoboth Beach and hosting classes at her private studio in Milton.
