Fresh Art Pop-Ups is a free weekly summer series at the Artpothecary in historic West Rehoboth Beach, featuring rotating experimental art shows and experiences, artist meet-and-greets, music, and cocktails alongside the West Side Creative Market. No tickets are required. Just stop by Friday through Monday all summer long, with featured artists on site Fridays and Mondays.

In Color is a little piece of me on every canvas.

My work is all about color, emotion, movement, and the beautiful mess of figuring yourself out along the way. I love experimenting, playing with texture, layering images, and letting the painting take me somewhere I didn’t expect to go.

Through bold color and expressive imagery, I explore identity, transformation, resilience, and all the weird, wonderful moments that make us who we are. Some pieces feel playful and full of life, while others come from a deeper, more vulnerable place.

For me, painting is freedom. It’s where I can be curious, make a mess, break the rules, and turn feelings into something you can actually see.

In Color is about embracing change, trusting the process, and never being afraid to evolve — because life is way more fun when you stop trying to stay inside the lines.

Featured Artists

Brittney Bodner creates emotionally expressive contemporary paintings exploring themes of identity, transformation, and resilience. Her exhibition features both intimate and large-scale acrylic works focused on layered emotion and visual storytelling.

Grew up in Austria and studied graphic and media. Fixed up furniture for a living. Painted all my life and will never stop. My dream is to become a full-time artist, painting big canvases and murals, trying out new styles and techniques.
