Theme
Chiarocroma is an immersive multidisciplinary exhibition exploring the relationship between light, color, texture, flavor, and atmosphere. The title is a coined fusion of chiaroscuro —the classical artistic study of light and shadow — and chroma, the intensity and purity of color. Together, the term represents the exhibition’s central idea: the transformation of ordinary materials into vivid sensory experiences through illumination, craftsmanship, and creative experimentation.
The exhibition brings together the live glassblowing and sculptural works of Eli Cecil, the globally inspired handcrafted furnishings and environmental design of Taber Bartoshesky, and the culinary, visual, and black light print installations of Hari Cameron. This will be a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship on the Delaware coast.
Event Details
Join us as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Hunt & Lane doing business in Rehoboth Beach. For over a decade, Taber Bartoshesky has helped shape the visual character of the Delaware Beaches through his carefully curated collection of artisanal and imported Indonesian furnishings. Hunt & Lane will transform the gallery space with handcrafted décor and hand-carved teak furniture that will serve as both installation and display for the glass artwork of Eli Cecil.
Eli Cecil, co-founder of Glass Half Full, a glassblowing studio on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, will bring his mobile glassblowing studio to DAC for live demonstrations throughout the weekend. Guests will have the opportunity to witness molten glass transformed into art in real time, while also being able to sign up for individual glassblowing experience classes where they can work directly with a professional artist to create their own handmade glass piece to take home.
Chef and artist Hari Cameron will present a series of culinary tasting plates and beverages served in Eli’s handblown glassware and dishes. Known for pushing the boundaries between food, art, and sensory experience, Hari will also create a projected psychedelic light installation using colorful oils, ingredients, and illuminated glass vessels on overhead projectors — delivering a feast for the eyes before the audience ever takes a bite. In addition, Hari Cameron will debut a collection of locally inspired black light linocut prints designed specifically for the exhibition. The prints — inspired by the beaches, observation towers, psychedelia, and culture of coastal Delaware — will cover an entire wall of the gallery, transforming the space into an immersive, glowing environment and creating a visual “vibe” that ties together the energy of the entire event.
Live music will accompany the Friday night opening reception, glassblowing demonstrations, and culinary exhibition. Artists will be exhibiting and selling work throughout the weekend.

Eli Cecil is a Glass Artist who has worked with the material for 15 years and has traveled internationally to study this art form with the best. Received my BFA from Salisbury University in 2012 and received many awards and honors from such institutions as the Imagine Museum in St Petersburg, FL. Recently, I received an Artist Fellowship Grant to travel to Europe and study abroad with the Master’s of Murano and Venice, Italy. My work orbits around nature, sustainability, and legacy. My signature works are my “Bonsai” Series. They are blown and sculpted from hot glass and involve a team of skilled artisans to create. I plan to introduce glass blowing to the Delaware Beaches by debuting my Mobile Glassblowing Studio on the shore. I specialize in home interior goods, custom projects, fine art, and public art commissions. My goal is to share this incredible art form and the magic of glass with the people to create a lasting and accessible experience for the audience. I plan to fire up a mobile glass studio and showcase my art form through demonstrations to the public. There will also be an interactive mission to offer the public an opportunity to sign up for a “Make your own Glass” experience that they will never forget. Let’s get Fired Up Delaware!
Eli Cecil presents a multidisciplinary installation combining handcrafted glass, furniture design, lighting, and immersive visual elements. The work explores craftsmanship, atmosphere, and functional art through collaborative presentation.
