Eli Cecil is a Glass Artist who has worked with the material for 15 years and has traveled internationally to study this art form with the best. Received my BFA from Salisbury University in 2012 and received many awards and honors from such institutions as the Imagine Museum in St Petersburg, FL. Recently, I received an Artist Fellowship Grant to travel to Europe and study abroad with the Master’s of Murano and Venice, Italy. My work orbits around nature, sustainability, and legacy. My signature works are my “Bonsai” Series. They are blown and sculpted from hot glass and involve a team of skilled artisans to create. I plan to introduce glass blowing to the Delaware Beaches by debuting my Mobile Glassblowing Studio on the shore. I specialize in home interior goods, custom projects, fine art, and public art commissions. My goal is to share this incredible art form and the magic of glass with the people to create a lasting and accessible experience for the audience. I plan to fire up a mobile glass studio and showcase my art form through demonstrations to the public. There will also be an interactive mission to offer the public an opportunity to sign up for a “Make your own Glass” experience that they will never forget. Let’s get Fired Up Delaware!
